Shoe for backpackers
It is an individual and optimized shoe for the feet, which is especially suitable for the backpacker traveller. It fits perfectly because the rigidity of the shoe is adjustable through the rubber strips. Furthermore, it is possible to turn the shoe into half of its height. This makes Paratus a shoe for all terrains. Because of the flexible upper material it fits easily in your backpack. The metal zip supports an easy use and is waterproof as well as the other upper material. This means, of wearing Paratus, one doesn’t have to worry about anything and will enjoy every kind of travels.

Features
Central zipper line
An essential element of the shoe is the central zipper. It allows easy and quick putting on and taking off. When the zipper is closed, the shoe stretches over the foot like a second skin due to the elastic bands. Additional support is provided by the large lateral Velcro straps, which can be individually adjusted. Due to the integrated Gore-Tex membrane the shoe is completely water and weatherproof.
Folding transformation
If the zipper is opened halfway, the upper part of the shoe can be folded to create a low shoe. In this condition Paratus is ideal for comfortable wearing, e.g. in the city. It also changes the visual impression, because the stabilizing part of the heel will be hidden. The shoe then appears more simple and restrained.
Compressed state

Materials
Characteristics
There are several elastic and durable elastic bands to tighten the shoe. The upper material consists of synthetic mesh, which
is breathable and the fabric to shine through underneath.
The grey fabric underneath is thanks to a membrane waterproof.
Inside, a textile is used which transports sweat well to the outside and at the same time keeps you warm in cold temperatures.
Structure
3D printed sole
The user has his foot recorded with a 3D scanner. The file is then used to create the individually adapted shape of the sole. In the picture on the right this is the upper part of the sole. It is produced with the 3D printing process and therefore fits the user right away.
